    أبو الهول في الحضارة اليمنية القديمة دراسة فنية مقارنة

    ملخص البحث. يتناول البحث دراسة أثرية فنية مقارنة لأشكال أبو الهول المكتشفة في اليمن، وما يمثلههذا الأثر في بدايته للحضارة المصرية القديمة واستمراره وتنوع أشكاله ودلالاته ورموزه، ومن ثم انتشارهبصور عديدة في بعض الحضارات القديمة مثل بلاد وادي الرافدين والشام.. كتأكيد على عمق الصلاتوالترابط الحضاري فيما بينها، كما كانت كذلك قائمة مع الحضارة اليمنية القديمة بمجالات كثيرة، منهاالنشاط الاقتصادي والتجاري وتشابه الرموز الدينية التي جسدت فيها أشكال أبو الهول في اليمن كغيرهامن تلك البلدان، كنماذج فنية ذات علاقة بالآلهة. وقد جاءت القطع الفنية لتمثال أبو الهول من جبل العودبمحافظة إب، واللوحات البرونزية المزينة برؤوس آدمية وما يصاحبها من كتابات بخط المسند يذكر فيها أسماءشخصيات قديمة ومناسبة تقديمها كنذور لبعض الآلهة. ويتناول البحث التقارب الفني لأشكال أبو الهول فياليمن وتلك المناطق وأوجه الاختلاف أو التميّز في الحضارة اليمنية القديمة، ويتضح ذلك من خلال عرضالصور والأشكال الفنية المختارة فيما بينها.

    The Ancient History of Palestine between European Archaeology and the Bible: A Critical Study

    Abstract. Ancient History is one of the most important period which in many time has strongconnections with the present. Such connections could be political, economic, or religious. However,the ancient history of Palestine is the only history in which these connections are very clear. This isbecause European Archaeology played an important role in studying this history and modeling it in acertain way. The problem with this modeling is that it has many mistakes in its basis. In this paper,we shall speak about the beginning of European Archaeology and highlighting its main philosophies.Then, we will treat its first contact with Palestine which the European imperial discourse calls it "theDiscovery of Palestine". After that, we will highlight the main shortcomings in its treatments of theancient History of Palestine. The conclusion will be drawn after that.

    الخطوط الملكية الأردنية وأثرها على تنافسية المنتج السياحي الأردني

    ملخص البحث. يعتبر قطاع النقل الجوي أحد أهم القطاعات المؤثرة على تنافسية الوجهات السياحية العالمية،حيث تؤثر أسعار التذاكر بشكل مباشر على التكلفة الكلية للبرامج السياحية، وتقود السياسات التسعيرية فيتحفيز أو تثبيط حركة السياح باتجاه أي وجهة سياحية وفقا لمنطق العرض والطلب الذي يتأثر بشدة بنوعيةالمنافسين ومنتوجاتهم.وتأتي هذه الدراسة لتبحث في حالة الخطوط الملكية الأردنية ومدى مساهمتها في تعزيز موقع المنتجالسياحي الأردني على خارطة السياحة العالمية. وقد بنيت الدراسة بشكل يقارن بين الخطوط الملكية الأردنيةمن جهة، وبين كل من الخطوط المصرية والخطوط التركية من جهة أخرى، مع تحليل لأثر بعض السياساتكالخصخصة، وسياسة فتح الأجواء، وسياسة التحالفات بين شركات الطيران العالمية.

    Some Experimental Results of Papyrus Physical Properties

    Abstract. Papyrus plays a profound role in ancient Egyptian civilization. The invention of writing system requireda flexible and movable material that may last as long as the included message existed. This research provides theresults of experiments that carried out on modern Egyptian papyrus. The physical properties; density, color,shrinkage scale and brightness of recently harvested papyrus stems are studied. The factors that monitor theseproperties; such as, age, area of the strips, harvesting time, ...etc are also investigated.Papyrus mechanical properties; tensile for example introduced this material as a cultural permanent mediavalid for all purposes; writing, painting and stuffing (cartonage). This paper includes experimental data thatanswers the reasons why ancient papyrus are still remained preserved in good conditions up to the moment.Papyrus of April for instance gives the best appearance towards the color, brightness as well as mechanicalproperties when compared to January, February and March papyrus. These results were enhanced by the analyticalFTIR data of the functional groups of lignin products.
